Easy Cheesy Avocado Egg Sandwich

Learn how to make this delicious, easy cheesy avocado egg toast! As a student, this is one of my favorite breakfasts that I had. It is very easy to make, with basic ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen, and the flavor is amazing. If you are in a rush and need a quick breakfast with a great, balanced nutritional value, this is it! It’s high in protein and will help you feel satisfied for a long time.

The reason I like this breakfast recipe is because you can make it very quickly with basic ingredients. Anyone can make this, it doesn’t require much skill. Besides that, it contains all the macronutrients in impressive amounts. From the whole wheat bread you will get carbohydrates. From the avocado, eggs and cheese you will get a good amount of fat. The eggs and cheese are also a good source of protein and micronutrients. All in all, a good balanced meal.

How to make this cheesy avocado egg sandwich?

Start by cutting an avocado in half and removing the pit. Cut the avocado width wise and make thin avocado slices. scrambling two eggs in a nonstick skillet and add your seasoning. Try to make a cube form of the eggs, so the cheese and the slice of bread can cover it. Once the eggs are close to being cooked, top it with a little bit of white cheddar. Place a slice of whole weat bread on the eggs and cheese. Now flip it so the bread is on the bottom and the eggs are on top. Place a big slice or two smaller slices of tomato and the avocado on top. Then place another slice of bread and get it golden on both sides. This whole process will only take a few minutes. After it looks good, slice it in half and enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 2 eggs
  • tomato
  • 1/2 avocado
  • salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Start by scrambling the two eggs.
  • Lay cheese and a slice of bread on top and flip it.
  • Add tomato and avocado and lay another slice of bread on top.
  • Cook until it is golden on both sides and enjoy!
