  1. This orange maple glazed chicken recipe is perfect for citrus season! Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with garlic powder, cayenne powder, paprika, ground coriander, and salt and pepper. Rub it all in with some avocado oil.
  1. Next, cook the chicken breasts in a high-heat pan until they are fully cooked. Then, transfer them to a plate.
  1. To make the glaze, mix together orange juice, maple syrup, brown sugar, white vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, corn starch, and water. Add some minced garlic to a hot pan and pour in the glaze mixture. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer until the sauce is thick. Add some orange zest and fresh dill, and then add the chicken breasts back to the pan.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs Chicken breast
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne powder
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp Avocado oil
  • 1/4 Lime juice
  • Salt and pepper

Orange Maple Glaze

  • 1/4 cup Orange juice
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp White vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Corn starch
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Orange zest
  • 1-2 tbsp Fresh dill
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken breast with the seasonings listed above. Add avocado oil and rub it all in.
  • Cook the chicken breasts in a high-heat pan until it is cooked all the way through and transfer them to a plate.
  • Add the ingredients the sauce together and mix them well.
  • Add the sauce to a hot pan with some minced garlic. Bring it to a boil and and simmer until the sauce is thick. Add the zest of an orange, some fresh dill and then add the chicken breasts back to the sauce in the pan. 
  • Simmer for one minute.
  • Serve it on top of hot cooked Jasmin rice and then spoon the sauce over the top. Add some green vegetables like broccoli or asparagus next to it and enjoy!
