Roasted Tomato Burrata Bruschetta

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ball Burrata cheese
  • 1/2 loaf Baguette bread
  • 10-15 Cherry tomatoes sliced in half
  • 2-3 tbsp Olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • Fresh basil
  • Sea salt
  • Black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven on 375F or 190C.
  2. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and cook them with the garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper in the oven for 30 minutes or in a pan for just a few minutes.
  3. Slice your baguette on a slight diagonal into 10 pieces. Top it with olive oil and sprinkle some salt and put it in the preheated oven for the last 10 minutes.
  4. Cut open the burrata, chop it up and put it on the bread with the baked tomatoes and fresh basil.
  5. Finish with some balsamic vinegar and enjoy!

Notes

Substitutes: If you don't have the ingredients listed above, you can use the following substitues that would also work well with this recipe
 
  • Instead of cherry tomatoes, you can use regular tomatoes.
  • Instead of burrata cheese you can use mozzarella cheese.
